OUR STORY
Next Move Dance was created with one clear belief:
dance is not just movement — it is a system that builds champions in life.
Founded by professional dancer, choreographer, mentor and mom of two kids Karina Chumachenko Zhan, Next Move Dance was built from the ground up with discipline, resilience, and purpose. What started as a dream became a training environment where young dancers learn far more than choreography — they learn structure, accountability, confidence, and leadership.
Karina’s journey — immigrating to Canada with almost nothing and building a respected dance community — is the foundation of our studio culture. We know what it means to work hard, stay consistent, and grow through challenges. That mindset is passed on to every student who walks through our doors.
At Next Move Dance, we don’t train kids to “just dance.”
We train them to show up prepared, think independently, respect the process, and push beyond comfort — skills that translate far beyond the studio.
